When will this be upgraded to use the Dotnetnuke Standard Form Pattern found here:
Or better yet, 100% templateable?
I have a version 2.3.6 form installed on a DNN 6.1.5 site configured for HTML email submissions. When the email arrives every label form item results in a line in the email that contains just a : (where the label would be for a normal field) and a - where the value would be. It looks most odd.
Is there some way of avoiding this - it seems a bit buggy to me as I would either expect the label fields to not be included in the email since they are fixed, or the value they contain to be passed through into the email so they provide sub-headings in a similar manner to their use in the form on the site.
Comments?
Regards,
I never heard about issues with that, but I'll have a look at it.
At the moment I am quite busy, so don't blame me if this will last a while.
In contrast going to the the DNN File Manager and uploading the same file is almost instantaneous.
Any ideas to what might be causing the slowness?

A doctor intake form we have is 8 pages long (very detailed). Is there any way to break up the form so that there is a single patient record for ALL the pages?

I can create 8 different forms on 8 pages and confirm each one to the next, bu that would create 8 patient records.

Any thoughts?

I can't seem to get the icon for help text to display. DNN 702 clean install.

Yes that was what I did and it works fine. But I wanted to send another email as confirmation. I wanted the content in the email for the confirmation to be different than the email sent to the administartor.
But in this case we will manage as it is, now the email sent as confirmation is a copy of the email sent to the administartor.
Thanks for your support!

Hi Peter,

you need a "SendCopy" item for that. This item requires that

Submission by e-mail must be checked in the settings

A form field of the type E-Mail Address must be on the form, and

the sender has to be set to this form field

Otherwise, you will not see this option in the field type list when adding a new form item. It is also not available when there already is one.

Please refer to the
documentation for further details.

Hi Timo,

SQL Server 2000 does not support the XML datatype which is used by helferlein_Form... If you do not have any other chance, there are some older versions of helferlein_Form available on
www.helferlein.com which run on DNN 4 and SQL Server, but they are - of course - not supported any longer.

Hello again!

I have done some tests now.
After changing the app pool to use .net 4.0, I could install HelferLein Form 2.3.6 and babelfish 1.1.4 without problems.
All seams to work just fine, but I still have the problem with scrabled characters.

We submit the form (HeleferleinForm) as e-mail and also to the database. The emails are fine, but characters like åäö are scrabled in the database. An example the name "Grönros" is stored in the database as "Grönros".

When we use the Helferleinform interface to look at the submission saved in the database it looks fine apart from the upper field (dropdown-list) which is crabled. When we look in the database all characters like åäö are scrambled. And when we export to Excel
all characters are scrabled.

I do not understand how we can solve this. I do of course hope for help. Thanks so much in advance!

kind regards,
